Flowers of One Garden

Just as in nature, we are strengthened by the diversity that surrounds us. This mural celebrates our diversity, the differences that make us uniquely beautiful. Each one of us is not only beautiful, but a valuable addition to our group... our garden.

Students each designed a flower to represent themselves in our community garden. Designs ranged from realistic, symbolic, to the downright surreal. Each flower was painted onto paper in the classroom, cut out, then wheatpasted onto the boards.

This mural will change in the future, to continue to be a reflection of Santa Rosa High School’s community and culture.
